The town of Oia on Santorini proved to be beautiful with overlooks that allowed for photographing the blue domed churches and villas. But just as interesting was this dog that ignored the tourists and jumped up to the sloping cement barricade. He appeared to be fixed on looking at the ships below as if waiting for someone. Sitting there for minutes, he ignored me photographing him and the water below.

The photo was taken in June 2015 with a Canon EOS 60D and Canon 18-200mm zoom lens at ISO-400. Exposure was f/13 at 1/800 second.
