A Cooper's Hawk just on the verge of taking off in pursuit of a potential meal. The bird was located in a wetland area in southern BC Canada near where I live. Camera was a Canon 5D Mk III with the Canon 500mm f4 lens on a tripod. Settings as follows. Aperture was 5.6, speed was 1/320 sec and ISO was at 800.
