While visiting Botswana and the Okavango Delta I came across this amazing bird the Malachite Kingfisher, and watched it fish in the wetlands. It is very tiny but was also friendly to me photographing it. Camera was a Canon 7D Mk II with the Canon 500mm f4 lens on a tripod. Settings for this photo had the aperture at 5.6, speed was at 1/640 sec and ISO was at 100.
