Shutterbug Photo of the Day: “Duomo, Catania, Sicily” by Frederick Allstetter

Today’s Shutterbug Photo of the Day is this gorgeous travel photo by Frederick Allstetter. Allstetter shot this image of the Duomo di Catania (Cathedral of Catania) in Sicily, Italy with a Sony DSC-RX100 at ISO 1600, f/3.5, 1/20 sec with the lens at 13.6mm.

“We were headed out for dinner in Catania, Sicily when we came around a corner and saw the Duomo lit up and the moon eerily shining above it,” Allstetter writes. “ I had my Sony compact camera instead of my usual Canon SLR. And no tripod. The picture came out amazingly well.”

We agree!
