Combining a leading medium-format single reflex camera and a 22-megapixel high-performance digital back is the idea behind the "Super Bundle" now available in the U.S. from Digital Marketing Services.

The bundle includes the Rollei 6008AF, a Sinarback eMotion22 digital back, editing software, and an AF Xenotar 80 mm F2.8 lens. The interchangeable film packs allow a photographer to shoot film, Polaroid-type shots as well as digital shots with very high speeds that result in high quality digital files.

The 6008AF is the top-of-the-line offering in a family of integrated products Rollei and Horseman are rolling out in the U.S. The product family is designed to allow photographers to easily interchange lenses, backs, and accessories without having to outsource. This integration strategy means that photographers can benefit from new developments without having to outsource for lenses and accessories.

The Sinarback eMotion22 digital back has a resolution of 22 million pixels per RGB or CMYK color, and offers the option of saving RAW files in addition to TIFF and JPEG files. The digital back has a lithium-ion battery that is good for about 250 shots per charge. A 2.2" angle-insensitive OLED color monitor with a resolution of 116,000 pixels is integrated in the back of the unit for instant review of images.

The Rolleiflex 6008AF is the first auto focus medium-format camera for precise high-speed automatic focusing with the new AF lenses by Schneider-Kreuznach. The leaf-shutter lenses of the Rollei 6008 System are fully synchronized for speeds up to 1/500 s or even 1/1000 s and thus easily match any flash challenge. As part of Rollei's new family integration strategy, the lens is compatible with more than 20 current 6000 system lenses.

The 6008AF is easy to operate and extremely fast: The unit is ready for operation a mere two seconds after being switched on. Shooting speed is a maximum 1.2 s or 50 frames per minute.
