While checking out the sites around midday at Chincoteague, VA, I saw this row boat resting in the grass near the bay and the dock in the background. I took some photos at that time, but returned at sunset to use the scene as a foreground. While there was good color in the sky, converting to black and white created a more dynamic image. This photo was taken one week to the day before Hurricane Sandy blew up the coast. Shot with Pentax K20D with Pentax 18-55mm lens at 24mm, ISO 400, f8, 125 sec. on Manfrotto Tripod and Ballhead.
