Late afternoon sunlight on a clear fall evening, Zion National Park. I had just arrived in Zion and was wandering around, taking in the sights. The moon was rising over the Great White Throne just as the last bit of light was lingering on it. I converted this to monochrome in Aperture and added an orange filter, which darkened the blue sky and emphasized the moon and the light on the peak. More refinements were done with Nik Silver Efex 2. Gear: Canon 5D MkIII, 24-105 mm lens. Settings: f10, 1/100 sec, ISO 100.
