While visiting the Smithsonian Castle in Washington DC I was struck by the detail in the ceiling. The stonework was a red tone and the details seemed to get lost in the color, so I decided Black and White would better show all the architectural design and detail and hide some of the animal displays. I used my Sony A7II at 1/25 sec f9.0 ISO 2500 at 24mm. It was quite dim and with no tripod I braced myself against a window frame to try to keep the camera as steady as possible.
