Do to the fact that it was a cold day, I decided to work inside. I set my lavender orchids near a window, so as to illuminate them with natural light. I captured the image using a Nikon D610 and Nikkor105mm/f2.8 macro lens mounted on a tripod and triggered the shutter with a remote release. I shot in aperture priority mode with the ISO set at 50 and exposed at f/36 for 5 seconds.
