The Korean War memorial in Washington DC is a reminder to all of sacrifices soldiers made for our country. Having served for more than 20 years, I can relate. Visiting the memorial right before sunrise gives an accurate feeling of what it is like to be alone with a small band of brothers while patrolling with only moonlight.
I shot the image around 530am with a Canon 5D mkiii, 70-200mm L v2. Settings were: f/2.8, 2seconds, 155mm, ISO 50. Edited in Lightroom and Silver Efex Pro.
