I was in Venice wandering the passageways when I glanced over into a small alley and saw this scene. The light was muted and very warm...like one would get in a frame display in s department store. I shot the photo...1/100@F/5 on my D-700 with the Nikkor 80-200zoom lens. It is a good photo, but lacked any zip. Using Nik silver Effects Pro, I turned the image into B&W and it is soooo much better. Whether the owners set this photo up for the tourists or for themselves, I'll never know, but it was a great shot, and unless I had glanced into the alley, it would have been missed. Guess one has to look everywhere.
