This new system solves the problem typically faced by bulk ink feeders due to the different black inks used depending on paper type.

"The eight color R2400 has two options for black inks-- photo black for glossy or luster papers and matte black for matte papers," explains Tony Martin, President of Ink2Image. "Users running normal Epson cartridges swap out the black cartridge as they change papers. This is normally difficult to do with a bulk ink system, but Ink2Image has solved the problem."

The new Ink2Image nine ink bulk feed for the R2400 has nine reservoirs, nine tubes, and nine refillable cartridges. The unused black cartridge stores neatly on top of the other cartridges in the print head when not in use. When users want to change blacks, they simply swap the black cartridges around.
