While drift diving along a series of reef shelves and small caves this Hawksbill slowly peeked out of his hideout to investigate our dive group swimming by. Although he followed us briefly, my best photo was this close-up as he exited his hideout.
Taken with Nikonos-V and UW-Nikkor 15mm f/2.8 lens. Fuji Velvia 50 ASA film. Manual focus, lens at f/5.6, ISO64, dual Ikelite strobes, exposure via TTL-Auto.
