This photo was taken on a trip to the Los Angeles Zoo. Usually the flamingos there don't make for terribly interesting images. But I was lucky enough to catch two of them in a pose staring right at each other. To me, the ambiguity as to whether they're about to fight or just saying 'hello' or something else is going on makes the image more interesting that it otherwise would be.
