This photo was taken in the evening on the Auto Tour route on the Wildlife refuge at Summer lake, Oregon. In high desert country there are small bushes growing in the alkalia depsits. I used a Nikon D 300 with a Nikkor Zoom Lens (18-200 mm.), with a Tiffen Circular Polarizer, all attached to a Manfrotto Tripod and Head. The ISO was 200, F.22, 1/13th second exposure, and a Focal Length of 62 mm.
