In the market for a new Canon lens? Now could be a good time to buy. Canon announced yesterday it has slashed the prices on 33 of its high-end EF L series lenses.

There's a wide range of price drops on premium Canon glass including everything from $500 off a Canon EF 400mm F/2.8L IS II USM telephoto lens, to $100 off a 70-200mm F/2.8L IS II USM zoom lens.

The biggest drop is $800 off F 200–400mm f/4L IS USM Extender 1.4x, if you're in the market for that specialty product.
