On a recent trip to Yellowstone, I had to visit the Tetons to try my luck at the Snake River Overlook where Ansel Adams took his iconic photo. I was mildly successful even though tree growth has changed the view of the river. My admiration for Mr. Adams would not allow me to enter that photo here, however, down the road my wife and I came across this barn with the beautiful mountains in the background. The combination of serenity and majesty was just begging to be imaged.
Equipment used was Sony A77, Tamron DT 18-200mm F3.5-6.3 lens, 1/800 sec, F8, ISO 100, Focal Length 40mm, Manual Exposure Mode, Auto WB. Shot in High Contrast Monochrome mode. All processing done in-camera, no post processing.
