On a trip around San Francisco bay, I kept watching the flag blowing on the back of our tour boat. Minutes later, we turned and there was the shot--one of the most famous bridges in the USA and the flag flapping in the breeze.
I shot with my D-300, 17-55mm zoom with the lens zoomed as far as possible and the shutter speed as high as possible to stop the motion. Opening it in CS-2, I used Nik filters for the extra saturation.
Oh, I almost froze to death taking this photo---and it was late May.
