Really! I caught one of these and held it in tweezers in front of a small praying mantis, somewhat larger than the nymph. I figured the praying mantis, ferocious predator that it is, would snatch it from the tweezers and start chewing. Instead, it watched for five seconds or so then turned tail and ran. Quite comical. And yet, I've seen adult praying mantises attack and eat Katydids their own size.
