They say location is everything and when it comes to approaching hurricanes, they definitely were correct! Taken from our hotel in Wailea looking to the Northwest with the West Maui Mountains in the distance on Thursday, August 23, 2018...Hurricane Lane was wreaking havoc on the Big Island and raining like crazy on the East side of Maui. We had moderate rain.
