I approached this house while I was traveling around Iceland on a solo photography trip. I saw it from a distance and absolutely had to go to it. As I parked in front of the house, it was as if the house was staring me down, confronting me. Almost as if it were alive. It felt as if it were a stand-off between my camera and the house.
