This is a view of the oldest still-standing bridge over the Seine in Paris. (It was completed in 1606.) The Samaritaine building in the background -- another Paris landmark -- was built in 1905 and served as a department store until it closed in 2005. The photo was taken with a Nikon D70 and a Nikkor 18-70 mm lens at 46 mm. The exposure was f/11 and 1/160 sec. The original image was converted to monochrome using On One and Nik plug-ins.
