While exploring Roosevelt Island I walked further north than usual. I was pleasantly surprised that the Roosevelt Island Bridge, which connects Roosevelt Island to Long Island, was far more interesting up close than I had imagined. I particularly liked the power station, which is visible across the East River on the left. For me, it gave the overall composition an “other worldly” effect. Nikon D7100, 18mm, f8, 1/1000
