He was standing quietly for quite a long time and I thought he was sound asleep. But when I focused my 300 mm lens on him, I saw that he was really just faking it! The color of his feathers had caught my eye and I loved the detail I found in this feathers when I later printed his portrait.

I was using a Canon 5D EOS at the time with a Tamron 28-300 mm lens.
