Patios behind rather plain street doors are the norm for the older large homes in the French Quarter of New Orleans. This was the activity area of the house and the patios are usually beautiful area. I was walking in the quarter and glanced down this alleyway for this shot. It was raining so I left the Nikons in the hotel and used my Panasonic Lumix with the lens zoomed rather far out. It was a long alley.
