My youngest daughter and I traveled North to Amicalola Falls and Lodge to watch the 2017 Solar Eclipse. On the evening of 20 August, the night before the eclipse, we were sitting on the back deck of the Amicalola Falls Lodge and witnessed a spectacular sunset. I used both my Nikon cameras and two different lenses to photograph the vista unfolding in front of us. I took multiple shots using my D3200 with a wide angle telephoto lens; one with a neutral density filter (sky and sunset)and one without (trees and valley). This image is the finished result.
