I've recently taken on people photography in an attempt to fully explore photography, and this photo is from my second ever shoot with a model. One of the most beautiful aspects of photography in my estimation is envisioning a photograph in the mind's eye and then executing it well.
One of my goals for this shoot was to bring the motion blur that I sometimes use in my wildlife work. I wanted to impart action, and meaning in the photograph, and I love how this turned out! Clair was in the midst of beginning her jump onto the tire, and I dragged the shutter to add a little motion blur.
I shot this with my Canon 7D Mark ii and a Tamron 24-70mm f/2.8 VC lens.
