This photo was taken from Clearwater Harbor looking toward Clearwater Beach and when I went chasing lightning after a summer thunderstorm had just passed over. It was moving out into the Gulf of Mexico from Clearwater, Florida.

I used a tripod-mounted Canon EOS 5D Mark III camera with a Canon EF17-40mm f/4L USM Canon lens with a lightning trigger. Settings were 2 seconds at f/9.5, ISO640 and 22mm.
