The ultra modern Notre Dame de Lourdes Cathedral in Casablanca is built of heavy cement which is all that one notices from its exterior but, once inside, it is the exquisite stained glass that takes over. Hand cut into very thick pieces to withstand the weight of the enormous structure, they together become very detailed story tellers. The individual pieces of stained glass, though, are beautiful abstracts due to their rough edges and faces, the result of chipping techniques used in their creation. Taken with a Canon 6D at f6.3, 1/60, ISO 2,500.
