I was photographing a sail boat cruising along Watauga Lake when a small group of Cedar Waxwings landed on the tree above me. One of them got brave enough to come within 5 feet of meet to grab some berries. Once he realized I wan't a threat, he stuck around for a little while to eat. He was the only one willing to come down, the others stayed at the tops of the trees.
