Twilight, often referred to as the 'blue hour,' is a delightful time for long exposures in many settings. From the vantage of the Rialto Bridge in Venice, the scene below is kinetic and full of activity. It is colorful as well. Motion is easily captured by the lights on most boats trolling about, while the classic buildings and palaces glow.
NIKON D4, Nikkor 16-35mm f/4; ISO 400, 6sec @ f/20; Set on a non-extended tripod on top of the rather wide stone wall of the bridge.
