My original color photo of the Temple at Esna, Egypt, was taken 30 years ago with a Nikon SLR film camera and a Nikkor 43-85 mm zoom lens, probably at 43 mm. The film was Kodacolor ASA 100. To improve the original 4x6 inch “drugstore print” by emphasizing the carvings and removing an orange-yellow colorcast, I copied the print with an Epson V700 scanner and converted the image to a warm-tone black and white with Nik plug-ins.
