This was taken with a Nikon D 7100, Nikkor Zoom Lens, and a B&K Circular Polarizer. The ISO was 200, F/13, 3 second exposure, and a Focal Length of 200 mm. I used a Gitzo Tripod and Arca-Swiss Head. I took this shot on the short hike from Little Zig Zag Falls in Rhododendron, Oregon to where my car was parked. I noticed the saturated colors of the bark and thought that a close up with an extended exposure would bring out the texture and colors to their maximum.
