Canon 5D Mk II, EF 16-35mm L II USM, 16mm, f22, 1/8 Sec, ISO 100-RRS Tripod w/ RRS BH-40 Ballhead. This view of Death Valley is from Aguereberry Point at elevation 6,344 feet. Pete Aguereberry, a early prospector to Death Valley (1905), built the road up to this overlook that he called the "great view", or otherwise visitors might not be making the rough drive up there today. He liked to bring people up there to see the view and it is spectacular. You will not be alone as I spotted a herd of bighorn sheep at sunset the previous day.
