This was taken at sunset 4 miles south of Macomb, Illinois on October 24 2015. I was driving home, passed over a small hill, and this was our view. It looked like the trees were on fire. I stopped the car, and took this as fast as I could. Within minutes the scene was dark. I used a Pentax K-7, zoom lens set at 55mm, F/5.6, 1/8 sec with 800 ISO. I shot in RAW format, and touched up contrast, sharpness, and color in Lightroom, then converted to JPG.
