Blue Lake in the Eastern Sierra. We camped in those pines on the left, and our little yellow tent can be seen if you look very, very closely. Thunderstorms were rolling in and out of the area, but this was a peaceful interlude between storms. This is an apt photo for this contest-I only have a 24-105 lens so I shot this wide, then when processing it I cropped out most of the photo and decided I wished I'd shot it like this in the first place, if I'd only had a telephoto lens…….
