At the beach on the Washington Coast, the wind blows nearly constantly. I caught this log well on its way to disappearing in the sand. The different textures and hues of black and white complement each other, and the wind has sculpted delicate edges around the log.
This was taken with an EOS 1i,with a wide angle lens.
