Taken while bird watching at the Circle B Bar Ranch in Polk County, Florida.
Equipment was a Nikon D5000 with an older Nikkor Zoom Al 35~105, using a lightweight travel tripod.
Seeing the ibis perched on a dead tree, I setup and waited about 15 minutes, knowing I had but one chance at the takeoff.
