With this photo of my daughter-in-law and my grandson, I used the palette knife paint effect in Photoshop to give it the feel of an old-style painting, as well as minor adjustments and retouching. This photo was taken with a Nikon D3200 camera and a Tamron 18-270mm lens @ 42mm. I used a softbox for my key light and one small backlight. Camera settings: f/4.8, 1/100 sec. @ ISO-400.
