This photo, taken in Monument Valley, is of a close up of a dead Juniper Tree framing the distant West Mitten at first light. The silhouette with eerie light escaping gives the photo a mysterious quality. I used a Nikon D 300 and Tiffen Circular Polarizer with a Manfrotto Tripod. The ISO was 200, F/22, 1/200th second exposure, with a focal length of 39 mm.
