A storm coming from San Diego to Borrego Springs, CA over the desert rimmed mountains occurred as the sun was starting to set over the Anza Borrego Desert State Park valley. In this multi-shot panoramic composite that was stitched together in an image processing program, I was fortunate to capture a wide gamut of weather in progress. Framing the sunset over the central mountain peak were illuminated dissipating clouds to the left and a still-active storm tho the right. The scene created a panorama of light, colors and textures that told the story of a storm in one wide vista encompassing an angle of view wider than that normally experienced by the human eye.
