This photo was taken in the bright afternoon sunlight. The sun was behind the flowers and back lit the foliage and petals. I used my Olympus E-1 camera, with my 50mm Macro lens to take this picture. I know this is an older camera and lens setup, however I feel if it is not broke, don't fix it. The focal lengh used was 50mm, and the exposure was 1/2000 sec. The aperture used was f5.6 and iso was 200. I tend to use a shallow depth of field using a f2.0 to f2.8 usually. I felt that in this picture a higher f-stop was needed.
