Patrick's Point State Park is located 4 miles north of the city of Trinidad on the north coast of California. This scene was encountered on a fall morning in 2004 while I was beating the bushes, looking for mushrooms to photograph. Didn't have a DSLR yet and was shooting with a Minolta A2 Dimage prosumer digital camera. The camera was mounted on a Gitzo tripod and a Really Right Stuff Pano clamp attached to a Linhof Profi 2 ball head. All camera adjustments (focus and exposure) set to manual. Image made up of 5 separate photos, stitched together manually in Photoshop CS2.
