this older man, missing both legs, regularly forgoes his dignity and begs for handouts along palm canyon blvd.... a womens republican convention is in palm springs, and many of them visited this booth during streetfair thursday night.....for the half hour I stood there watching, not one dropped a dollar into his cardboard box....not one even looked in his direction....
