Notes: This image was captured at the Tour de France Pyrenees Monument, located between Pau and Tarbes in southwest France. I was finding it difficult to capture the beauty and significance of the entire structure. Then I noticed a backlit photo opportunity and concentrated on a single part of the massive monument.
