Wild Turkeys are one of North America's greatest conservation success stories and are very social, vocal birds with a variety of interesting behaviors. One winter's day, I was watching this group of toms. One, who is not featured in this photo, was obviously the most dominant and not in need of reminding anyone of that fact, but these two still had some of the pecking order to work out - and did so with much head to head combat and intertwining of necks. I shot this image in South Dakota with my Canon PowerShot SX60HS.
