On a trip to Canyon de Chelly in the northeast part of Arizona, a visit to this amazing canyon and its ruins was an eye opener. There are many to be found in the canyon that date back to the early 300 AD through to the 1300 AD, built by the Anasazi. Today the site is managed by the Navajo Nation. Truly an amazing place. This photo captures the remains of a small village and was named the White House Ruins due to the wash that was on the main building. Camera was a Canon 7D with a Canon 100-400 f4.5/5.6 zoom lens at 170mm on a tripod. Settings as follows. Aperture was 5.6, speed was 1/320 sec and ISO was at 100.
