The foggy, drizzly day in Jerome, Arizona, added to the ghostly feel of the cemetery in this historic ghost town. If you look closely, you can see a the trickle of a few raindrops contrasted against the top of the metal cross. Black and white seemed to enhance the natural contrast of wet versus dry, the fog's ethereal effect of limited visibility in the distance as it rolled over the hills, as well as the mindfulness of the historic feel of this old cemetery. Photo by Theresa Rose Ditson. Gear and settings: Nikon D810. Nikkor 24-70 @ 27mm. ISO 160. f/22. 1/13 second.
