Watch These Amazing Eagles Swoop in for Food in Our Video of the Week

We’ve started a new feature on Shutterbug.com where we’ll feature some of our favorite footage as our video of the week. This first video, titled "Eagles Swoop in for Food Camano Island, WA" was shot by Drew Coalson.

“When it comes to food, it's every bald eagle for itself, at least during the summertime,” Coalson writes. “Check out this group of eagles flying upside down while fighting it out for food, plus slow motion shots of them swooping the bounty off the ground. The locals help the flock survive lean times by feeding them raw chicken when the salmon are not spawning.”

Coalson shot the footage with the Sony HDR-AS100V POV Action Cam. The first clip is shot on the High Shutter setting (HS120) setting with specs of 1280 x 720, 120fps and includes sound recording as well as video. The second clip was shot on the super slow motion setting (SSLOW) with the specs 1280 x 720 120p and no sound.
