Taken near the top of Mt. Evans (14,260 ft.) just as the sun came up very early in the morning in mid July. I went up with some friends to shoot sunrise shots from the summit. I found this guy on the way down from the summit. This is first Pika I have ever had a chance to photograph. They are so fast they are usually gone before you can get your camera to your eye. Shot with my Nikon D7100, Nikon 80-400mm at 400mm, at f/10, ISO 400, Aperture Priority.
